About Susan's butterflies

 
April the 29th 2024 will mark the 10th anniversary of the death of my mother, Susan Ashworth. She had been the victim of domestic abuse for several years which escalated when she decided to put an end to it and seek a divorce, unfortunatley leading to her murder. Rather than dwell on this, I thought I would like to make a difference for other women who may be in similar abusive situations. So with that in mind, I'm doing a fundraiser for Refuge (https://refuge.org.uk/). Mum was a keen gardener, and loved poppies, so with the kind help of James Wood, Nic Westermann and Oscar Rush we have forged some. If you decide to buy one, 100% of your money will go to refuge, nothing will go to any of the makers involved.
